Piezo- composites are part of the group of new materials or smart materials. Smart Material Corporation and Smart Material GmbH are operating in the markets of North America, Europe and Asia and serve a wide range of markets segments in the industrial, defense, medical and customer sector. Our mission: To provide advanced piezo compsites for commercial application in high quantity, high quality and low cost. Founded in 2000 Smart Material has become a major supplier of piezo-composite materials, which are assembled into components and complete systems by its customers. As a result, our typical customers are OEMs (Orgianl Equipment Manufacturers).
New material technologies like the “ intelligent” piezo materials manufactured by Smart Material call for special user support, which Smart Material and its partners from industry and research together offer.
