In the area of technology transfer from space MST Aerospace GmbH is prime contractor of the European Space Agency (ESA). The key activities of these transfer initiatives consist in:
- identification of transferable space technologies and search for customers in other industrial sectors, and
- determination of market needs within industry and search for solutions from the space field.
MST Aerospace GmbH functions as technology agent and gives advice to enterprises regarding their diversification efforts. Transferable technologies, products and processes are identified, assessed and made available to interested companies. For this, the diversification of products and the transfer of technologies, in particular from the aero-space field, is initiated and supported by corresponding measures.
To intensify the transfer activities, the virtual market place technology-forum.com is operated via an own web-server. The market place includes databases with technology offers and search profiles of technology oriented companies.
